Swimsuit Challenge Celebration

An amazing day, amazing athletes and a lot of fun.  We kicked the Celebration off with Wods #3 and 4.  These 12 competitors started off 2 weeks ago with Wod #1 a devilish duo of heavy thrusters and Karen followed by Wod #2 a short burst of 50% bw snatches/du's along with c2b pull ups and burpee box jumps.

Wod #3 was all about speed with a 20 ft bean bag shuttle and a 100 m sprint while Wod #4 ranged from 10 to 15 mins of a mix of swimming, bodyweight exercises and hauling the Jaguar's jewels around in the sand.  Together they taxed every aspect of an athletes fitness.  9 athletes made it to the finish.

Only 1/2 point separated Jaguar's Fittest Male Victor Amuso (120.5) from Robby Cantrell (120).  And 42 yo Scott Bonavita took 3rd (103.5) competing right alongside the young bucks while  Jaguar's Fittest Coach is Kevin Fischer with (119).

The women's competition was not quite as close but close it was with Jaguar's Fittest Female Shaina Sine (99) followed by 101# dynamo 40 yo mother of 4 Jen Hess (84.5) and nipping at her heels Tiffanie Hargraves (81).

Congratulations to each and every athlete that competed and gave forth their all.  Everyone of you are a winner.

Let's not forget the Most Transformed & Swimsuit athletes.  Jaguar's Most Transformed Male is Chris O'Neal losing over 12 lbs and 6.9 % body fat.   Jaguar's Most Transformed Female Suzanne Mortensen losing 14.5# and 3.2% body fat for a total of 30# and 8.2% over 2 challenges

In the Physique Round  Monique Helms took the gold edging out her competitors in a very close field of hot female bodies with a 5.5 lb / 6% body fat loss while 42 yo Robbie Holsopple oushined the males with his shredded (11.1%) circa 1986 physique.

Next Competition:  Yes, we are adding a Master's Division.  July 14, 2012.  "Next season" starts now folks!

From there it was on to food, drink and fun in the sun!
