Dinner & a Lift

Great turnout tonight!  Many personal PR's were achieved along with some new records for the LeaderBoard.   Much thanks to Robbie for capturing these record moment photos.  The AV Club was hard at work; we got everyone on film and will be posting full coverage soon along with results.

We topped it off with an enjoyable dinner at GrillSmith and capped the evening by announcing our first ever Reigning Beast.  No surprise here. . . Victor Amuso took home the trophy on that one and what a beautiful trophy it was.  Full coverage to follow.

An excellent suggestion posed by this am by Coach Mike and fellow member Eric was a "Leader Board Challenge".  In other words, in order to stay on the LeaderBoard you must maintain the strength necessary to execute the lift.  The suggestion was run by Corporate and quickly approved.  The new rule for the LeaderBoard is:  a date will now go on the LB when a record is set.  That record will hold for 90 days after which it can be challenged.  The challenger will be able to post a lift within at least 10% of the challengees.  In order to maintain the LB record the challengee must beat the challenger's lift in a face off.  If your strength declines, your record will no longer hold.  The record will belong to the one with the highest lift at present.  Of course, at any given time a higher lift may be attempted and will go on the board if successful.
