What brought me to CF Jaguar was 2 words….Taylar Stallings. It was the end of January, and I found myself in need of something “different” for my fitness. As a former athlete, I’d tried EVERYTHING post-athletics to stay in shape… running (snore), globo gyms (extra snore), spinning, yoga, Jillian Michaels DVDs, Insanity…and the list goes on. I had heard a friend mention something about his wife cheating on him with “CrossFit,” so I decided to Google some local boxes in my area. As I was reading about the coaching staff at CrossFit Jaguar, to my surprise, I scrolled down and there was Taylar…with a big ass smile on her face. I went to college with Taylar and knew she was a BEAST! I knew the program had to be legit if she was affiliated with it, so I decided I would give it a shot. The rest is history.

My first impression of CrossFit – HOLY SH*T I THINK I’M DEAD…OR NEAR DEAD. My impression now? – HOLY SH*T, I THINK I’M DEAD…OR NEAR DEAD. Let’s do it again! I have "two" first achievements: 1) First RX workout w/ Pull-ups on March 26th, 2013 – 7 pull ups, 14 air squats, 7 push ups, AMRAP in 12 min. Score: a very hard-earned 4RX!! 2) First MU on May 6th, 2013. Thanks, Kim! Love ya boo!

I am currently working on : 1) Improving the quality and form of my OLY lifts. 2) Becoming more efficient and fluid with ring MU’s and HSPUs. 3) Mobility…mobility….MOBILITY! My favorite Jaguar memory was standing on the podium at WOD JAMZ with two of my favorite She Beasts!! *Almost* made me forget the fact that our asses got WOD JAMMED (almost…).
