I wanted to change the way I was exercising. I went through cycles where I'd be motivated to lift or run, but they quickly became stale, I'd plateau and exercising became more of a routine and then I would lose my motivation. I needed something fresh with more variety to keep my interest. I had a neighbor who was going to a box, he suggested I try CrossFit, and here I am!  My first impression of Jaguar was great. I loved how different it was from the big box gyms.

CrossFit Jaguar is not polished and shiny. It looks like a place to work out, not to admire yourself in the mirror. My first achievement? That's tough. I guess my first achievement was not a single individual gain, but as a whole seeing the improvement in absolutely every exercise since I started. There are still some I really struggle with, but I'm still better than when I started. Some gains are significant, some are small, but to me that's what it's all about - always trying to improve.

I'm working on getting stronger. I lost the weight and body fat % I set out to lose when I started training. Now I want to gain more mass, and put on some weight, but all in muscle. My favorite Jaguar memory? I don't really have one favorite, but I have a lot of great memories. A few I can think of off the top of my head- I love the custom birthday WOD's. The way Kim shows us various ways NOT to do each exercise. Reaching my one rep max in any exercise and working out with great people in our VF group.
