I stared CrossFit because I wanted to get back in shape and feel better about myself. I'd heard of CrossFit for a while and was always interested in the style of workout.
 


I was definitely nervous my first class, but the coaches are extremely positive and work with you on developing a good technique, which made me feel comfortable. It has changed now in the sense that I feel confident asking the coaches for tips to help make me better and stronger. I also feel like I can help others in the class by giving them tips that I have learned and help motivate them.
 


My first achievement would be finishing the first work out! I was sore for days after, but felt amazing about myself that I was able to do it to completion. That euphoria you get after an exhausting workout is indescribable.  I am still working on my technique and would like to eventually start the Olympic style lifts. I would also like to do a successful "muscle up" by the end of the year.

My favorite Jaguar memory would be my birthday finisher. Having everyone in the gym cheer my on while I finished was awesome. The Jaguar community is tight nit and having them cheer me on gave me the extra push I needed to finish.
