I've been going on and off to a regular "globo gyms" for years but I was getting bored with the normal chest routine and a friend recommended I try Crossfit one day. I had been pretty inactive for several weeks and gained a few unnecessary pounds so I remember thinking I will try this for a month and give it my all. My initial impressions were that it was tough but I was up for the challenge. I was so out of shape that I was sore every day but somehow my body was feeling much better each day. I still find it very tough but it's a lot more of fun working out with our community and I actually look forward to it each day.

I think two things come to mind when I think of 'achievements': I loved The Open season and our Jaguar challenge early in the year. I learned a lot about myself in each of those events but completing The Open & the challenge were small wins that I appreciated. Currently, I just want to get better at all the things I cant do well: pull ups, running, and gymnastics. Another thing is being consistent about my diet. I'm lacking in that dept recently.

The Open season is by far the most fun I had working out together with our community. Also the community events are fun (even thought I've missed tons of them) and I love hanging out with our peeps.
