I had always been overweight. I had always been a quitter. Walking through the doors at CrossFit Jaguar changed all that for me. Since becoming a member in July of 2012, I have lost 25 pounds of fat, through exercise and nutritional coaching. It hasn’t been easy, but nothing worth having ever is.

I cannot imagine a better program for fitness than CrossFit. The combination of Olympic-style lifting, body weight exercises, and intense cardio exercise makes every session a challenge, and keeps the workout routine fresh and exciting. I had tried Crossfit at several facilities in the Tampa Bay area, and for me there is no better place to perform your daily WOD than CrossFit Jaguar. CrossFit can be intimidating for beginners, but the staff and fellow athletes at JagFit go out of their way to welcome new members to the Crossfit experience, and they encourage you to exceed your perceived limitations.

CrossFit has taught me quite a bit about myself. I have accomplished things on a physical level that I would have thought were impossible a year ago. This has led me to wonder what other possibilities exist in my life. I have come to realize that quitting is NEVER the answer, and that the only thing worse than quitting is not even trying. I will be forever thankful to Paula Jager and the JagFit coaches for helping me to literally transform my life.
