I was brought to CrossFit as a way to gain strength, build lean muscle and lose the ton of fat I had as a sophomore in high school. It's what pulled up on YouTube when I was trying to find strength and endurance training videos. My first impression of CrossFit was that it was just going to aid me as just a wrestler, but as the years progressed and I went back and forth from the wrestling season to the CrossFit during the summer, I've seen it shape me as an athlete not only physically but mentally.

My first achievement was last year when I got my first bar muscle-up. My current goal now is to beat my dad's max back squat when he was my age which is 420 lbs. I'm currently at 370 lbs. My favorite CrossFit Jaguar memory was July 4th, 2014 in which the box participated in the workout "Murph" in honor of Lt. Micheal Murphy. Everyone showed their respect and patriotism that day as a unified group in which I'm glad to say I'm a part of.
