Ana’s main goals when she began CrossFit were to improve her health and reduce or eliminate medications and improve her looks.  Her initial impression was “OMG!  I’m too old to do CrossFit”.  She did not think that she could do it, but with a little convincing made up her mind to test her doubt.  One and a half years later she’s doing it and her mantra is now “I will never give up!”

While Ana has made a dramatic change in her appearance and eliminated medications, what’s changed the most is her self-esteem.  Shy and otherwise unsure of herself Ana is now confident and a downright badass!  We have watched her inner Shebeast come out of hiding.

She also makes much better decisions when it comes to food choices.  It took a little over a year but it’s working.  Ana has done the work and has lost approximately 25 pounds since November 2014.  And even though she weighs less, she is constantly amazed at how much weight she can lift now.

Her goals are now to continue a well-balanced diet and get stronger.  Ana always jokes with Coach Kelly that she is “special” when it comes to learning the technical aspect of the deadlift, power clean and even running. She finds everything very challenging, but with the help of the coaches she is reaching her dreams to feel better and improver her appearance. She is constantly thanking our coaching staff our patience and dedication. You are welcome Ana and you are very special to us.
