What is “On Ramp”?
On Ramp is a foundational course to acquaint you with the 9 basic weightlifting movements we do in CrossFit along with the 2 Olympic lifts. We have a one on one option or a group option.
The one-on-one option consists of 5, 30 minute private sessions with one of our coaches scheduled on your preferred availability over a two week period. The focus is entirely on you.
Our group on ramp is six, one hour sessions over a two week course period. We meet at 7:30 pm Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. You will have one-on-one group coaching! What does that mean? It means although you are in a group setting, you will be individually coached. We all learn together. Our focus is to give you the skills you need to join our CrossFit group classes. We do not expect you to be perfect after the sessions are over, but we do want you to be more comfortable in the movements than when you first walked through our doors.
What are the movements?
We go over the squat progression, push progression and deadlift along with the Oly lifts (snatch, clean) and other weightlifting techniques as well as auxiliary exercises, class structure and format.
